Ceremony, flowers & charities...

I cant say I've enjoyed contacting people and passing the news of dads passing. Although it has been good talking with people many of whom I've not spoken to for years, actually decades for most.

Current COVID19 restrictions have made organising a funeral very hard particularly with strict very limits on numbers allowed. To go someway to help those unable to attend, the ceremony will be streamed online for those who wish to view. Details will be added to this page when available.

Many people have asked our wishes about sending flowers or making charity donations. Firstly please do not feel obliged and of course either would be very kind and appreciated if you are keen to do so. That said our preference would be a small donation to a charity of your choice. The charities listed here are special to us personally. Both Marie Curie and Macmillan have been there and supported us each time cancer has unfortunately touched our family. The Essex and Herts Air Ambulance saved my daughters life in 2020 arriving by air for emergency treatment then airlifting her for emergency major trauma surgery at London Hospital Whitechapel. She would not be here now if it wasn't for the incredible work they do every day. They rely on donations and fundraising to provide the service as they receive limited government funding and are not part of the NHS.
